 Hello Friends!

 Naturalizer Prissy!

Back in April, we went to see Garrett play TBall and then went to Monica's scrapbooking birthday party. A day with the Hall's is always great!

    I <3 Garrett
So cute...Matt had his own SF giants hat. Garrett was wearing his. Jeffrey had nothing. Garrett took his hat off and put it on jeffrey, and then grabbed his helmet for himself. Chips and cheese!!!!
on to monica's party... Sa sa...hahah. waiting for her hot dog to cook by the back door.
While all the girls were downstairs scrapbooking, the boys went upstairs to play. All of a sudden, we hear Garrett scream "MEXICO!!" and then we heard some drumming. So we went over to the stairs to see what was going on.

As you can see, Garrett acutally meant "CHINESE!" for lion dancing. They took turns being the head, tail, and drummer. Garrett would scream out "CARRY ME!" or "CARRY HIM" to Matt and Jeffrey. It was quite entertaining. BIG GIRLS PICTURES!
Maria and Matt's Wedding!!! here comes the bride....
  Kara's Cupcakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I was the official babysitter during the ceremony, I got to sit in the front near Maria's Grandparents. As Maria was walking up the aisle, grandpa pulls out his cellphone to snap a picture.

During the ceremony, I gave the kids some paper and crayons to keep them busy. When SaSa would pull a crayon out of the box, she would tap it against her dress until it was in proper crayon holding position. Unfortunately, it left colorful crayon marks on her dress. But thank goodness for my good ol' Tide-To-Go.
 Wu sibling singing. LOVELY.

 Prissy's again!
If you can't tell, Toby and Winnie are imitating the photo in the middle of Matt and Maria.

Emily and I were admiring the different kinds of hats that the professors had. Nice day at good ol' san jose state.

This was our DELICIOUS meal for memorial day at the Lee house. SOO much food.
Another Giants TBall Game

After that, we went to my grandma's 95th birthday dinner. My cousin bought us all delicious goodies from Bakesale Betty..MMMMMMMMM. The turnip song. classic. the girl with the neopolitan dress was so cute! The boys were playing with nerf guns and such, and matt shot garrett in the back of the head. Garrett started crying, and then matt lee was like, "ok...shoulders garrett" and he immediately stopped. haha.
The next week was CCS senior graduation.
The next weekend, I went down to LA with the HOW family for Jeffrey's cousins graduation from UCLA. We went down to Santa Monica for a bit, shopped, and walked along the pier. (you can see the 'boardwalk' in the background) Our super delicious meal at Tahoe Korean BBQ in koreantown. $17.99 for all you can eat lunch. all you can eat meat. and all the yummy korean sides. SO GOOD! (i think tahoe in korean translates to "do hou" in chinese, meaning very good)
Then Brian suggested boba at a place called I <3 boba. we thought it was cheesy, but he said it was really good.

We were not disappointed. They were really really good.
Cousins picture (plus me, the future cousin, and Brian's girlfriend, minus kim who is in italy.)
 All the family
The next day, we went to DISNEYLAND!!!!!! I <3 it!
He's so excited to ride the Finding Nemo ride for the first time!!!
  It's Darla!
I love space mountain! We rode it twice in a row :)

Jeffrey's Uncle got us all into the exclusive Club 33.
 The secret doorbell
The view of New Orleans square down below.
Supposedly the only place inside disneyland parks that has alcohol. The meal begins with buffet appetizers. Salads, coldcuts, cheese (good gouda), veggies, fruits, crab, lobster, etc. They also had a special carving station for the day with SUPER GOOD prime rib and baby back ribs.
The famous smore cups. We all grabbed them at the beginning of the meal, afraid they might run out. The antiquey decor, with lots of animal pictures, hangings, etc. Around the kids table. The adults From top left, clockwise: Pan seared chicken with truffle mac n cheese, NY steak with potatoes, halibut and lobster tail with pasta, pasta lumache (pesto, goat cheese alfredo, bolognese). i had the halibut and lobster..YUM!
While we were eating, some friends came to say hello! The beautiful dessert bar.
At the beginning of the meal, Janine told us that there has only been one meal in her life that was so good, it made her cry. And we were all like, what?? you cried over food??
I guess this is meal #2. The little sucker that made her cry. It was like a chocolate mousse ball. SOOOO GOOD! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
In the bathroom....
WOW! it was tami's first time on the ride, thats why her arm is hooked around mine. On the other side of our elevator was a blind lady all by herself. Goodbye disneyland! oh how i love thee.
The next weekend, we went to San Diego to visit Kari and for Mike's graduation! Kari brought us out for Mexican food for the famous California burrito. according the urban dictionary:
|
California burrito is a delicious and mythical burrito found in Mexican eateries, also known
as a Cali Burrito. It is native to Southern California, especially San
Diego. The California Burrito consists of carne asada, cheese, sour
cream and French fries or potatoes rolled into a flour tortilla.
Guacamole may be substituted for sour cream.
| Pretty good.
Then we went with her and her puppy, Katsu, to obedience school
The trainer called him "fiesty." If you notice in front of that couple, Katsu is growling at the other dog. The best dog was the burmese mountain dog. So obedient and cute! Then we went to get some yogurtworld. YUMMMM (we went again on sunday)
After dinner with Mike and family, we went to La Jolla shores to search for Grunions. What are grunions you ask?? Wikipedia says :They are sardine-sized teleost fish in the Atherinopsidae family of New World silversides. They are found only off the coast of California, USA and Baja California, Mexico (found on both the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of California coasts).
Grunion are known for their very unusual mating ritual. At very high tides
the females come up on sandy beaches and dig their tails into the sand
to lay their eggs. A male then wraps himself around the female to
deposit his sperm. For the next ten days the grunion eggs remain hidden
in the sand, but at the next set of high tides the eggs hatch and the
young grunion are washed out to sea. I didn't see any, but after we left, the cousins said they saw a few, but had no luck catching them.
G for grunion, not grace. Mike's giant graduation. I think there were 1200 grads?? Do you spy mike? CONGRATULATIONS MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
 :)
The end!!! |
